Twilight DVD sells over 3 million in first day

Summit Entertainment is reporting that the Twilight DVD has sold over 3 million copies in its very first day of release. With the help of multiple midnight release parties across the country, fans helped make the Twilight DVD become one of the top five best first day DVD releases in the past two years.

Wondering which Twilight stars showed up to what city for the DVD release? See below:

Rachelle Lefevre – Salt Lake City
Ashley Greene – Los Angeles
Catherine Hardwicke – Dallas
Edi Gathegi – New York
Nikki Reed – Chicago

Edi Gathegi and Nikki Reed talk New Moon

Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, and Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie in Twilight, sat down with MTV to talk about the upcoming filming of New Moon. Edi chats about the New Moon script and his role in it and also details Taylor Lautner’s work out plan that helped him get to be werewolf-ready. Nikki talks about perfecting the looks of the Cullen family, which includes Nikki wearing a wig this time around instead of bleaching her hair blonde. From pictures I have seen I think it looks much better and as Nikki explains in the full MTV article, it will also save her from going bald.

MTV asks “…are you fully prepared to be a true Twilighter?”

MTV has an article up on their website asking if you “…are you fully prepared to be a true Twilighter?” Well apparently if you are, you need to check out the Twilight cast performances MTV assumes you haven’t seen. They list their top five performances from Rob, Kristen, Edi Gathegi, Billy Burke, and Anna Kendrick that you should check out so you can officially be a true twihard Twilighter.

New Moon talk at Push Premiere

As reported on the MSNBC website, Access Hollywood caught up with Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi at the the Push movie premiere where some little New Moon tidbits were revealed. They weren’t able to reveal much but there was talk about the yellow Porche, werewolves, and Taylor Lautner’s buffness.
