Elizabeth Reaser talks with EW
Elizabeth Reaser shared her five favorite filming moments from Eclipse with EW. Check out one of those moments below.
“There was an action scene I did with Peter [Facinelli] where we were in a battle. We fight together — because we’re a team and he’s so protective he wouldn’t let me fight by myself — it’s pretty intense. We both do some intensely violent things, which was pretty scary. And I didn’t enjoy that stuff. I realized I don’t like pretending to hit people because it kind of makes me feel bad, like what if I hit them [for real]? What if I get nervous? And so the director was like, ‘You’re not getting mad.’ He tried to piss me off and it worked. [Laughs] He started yelling things at me off-camera to genuinely make me mad. So then I got really mad and he was like, ‘Yea!’ It was a weird thing but a great tactic on his part.”

Taylor featured in GQ
In the July 2010 cover story of GQ, we fall in love with Taylor Lautner all over again as he talks about the blessings that the Twilight saga has afforded him and all the happy little coincidences that happened in order for Taylor to be where he is today.
Here’s a quick snippet of the interview:
Lautner, 18, sits down and begins to tell me how honored he is to be here, how honored he’s been to be everywhere lately. Like at this year’s Oscars, where he introduced a tribute to horror films alongside Stewart. “I would have passed out if she wasn’t there!” Lautner says. “You’re looking down and you’re talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio—and they’re listening to you!” This is his baseline sentiment: honest, enthusiastic bafflement. It’s probably the only suitable reaction. He talks about the MTV Video Music Awards, where he presented a trophy to his then maybe-girlfriend Taylor Swift, only to watch Kanye snatch the microphone. “I was standing behind her as it was happening, and 100 percent I was sure it was staged!” Lautner says, eyebrows raised. “I thought, ‘This was something that they rehearsed.’ I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face.”

“I mean, being in a film like Eclipse is such a great opportunity—and there’s a massive fan base with these Twilight movies that you need to respect. So I don’t think I could sleep at night if I didn’t give it my best shot.”

“I started going to a ton of acting classes, and I found I had a real passion for it, probably the biggest passion I’ve ever had in my whole life. So I decided to put school aside, put all my scholarships aside, put everything that I worked hard on for my mother and myself aside, and pursue this roller-coaster ride.”

“I was working at a restaurant, I booked the role in Twilight, put in my two weeks’ notice, got fitted, flew to Portland, filmed, and then it started getting hype. That helped me get my foot into certain doors before the movie even came out. I did fourindependent films during the break between Twilight [2008] and New Moon. I haven’t even really had time to sit back and process it all. But when you do finallysit back and think about it, it’s incredible.”

Rob featured in Parade
Robert Pattinson shares some interesting insight into Eclipse in an interview done with Parade. See some of the excerpts from his interview below.
Let’s hear it for virginity.
“Edward is old fashioned. Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. I guess Edward doesn’t really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she’s pushing him to go all the way. He’s got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I’m a bit old fashioned in that way as well.”But that didn’t stand in the way of a lot of lip-locking.
“Kissing felt a little bit more natural in Eclipse, even if there was plenty of it. In New Moon and Twilight it was always like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna kill you if I kiss you’ or something. It was always kind of odd. But, in this one, they both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. It’s the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple.”
